Like everything great, Squirrel Concepts began as a humble home garage project, driven by individuals with diverse backgrounds and a shared love for hands-on craftsmanship. We're not perfect, but our passion for classic Toyotas and commitment to learning push us to keep growing and delivering the best service possible.

While none of us grew up working in auto shops, turning wrenches has always been each of our greatest past times, and although entering such a complex industry with fresh eyes can be seen as a disadvantage, our individual stories have allowed Squirrel to evolve in a way that simply makes the most sense for running a shop today. 

At our core, we value honesty, quality, and transparency. Our creative outlook on automotive has allowed us to keep the hardworking mentality of the past, while adapting in areas we felt needed change. Whether it's being strict in our use of top-tier parts or putting a focus on education when it comes to our client experience, we believe in doing things right and keeping our work authentic.

Our current shop at 1565 Magnolia Ave., Long Beach, CA, may be modest, but it’s home. Thanks to the support of friends and the Long Beach community, we've achieved great things. Though we’re always dreaming of where this road will take us, we’re taking things one step at a time—focused on doing good work and pushing our craft forward every single day.
